The oldest recorded use of the PENDRED name may be a gold coin produced for the Anglo-Saxon King Offa in the 8th century.

The ‘PENDRED’ as it is known is kept in the Coins & Medals department at the British museum in London. (reference 1962-13-1)

This web site is designed to provide PENDREDs and those interested in PENDRED family history with a forum to exchange information to build a better understanding of our past.

I hope that you will enjoy what you see and contribute as much or as little as you like.
